Hans Billimoria was educated in Sri Lanka, Madras and Scotland. In 2005 Hans returned to Pune, India to take on the role of Project Manager of Deep Griha Society’s HIV/AIDS Unit. Ugly Tree is his first novel. Ugly Tree has two parallel story lines, a gospel story by the Judas character and the more contemporary tale told through the eyes of Jude Vanderhoven, a Sri Lankan Burgher that was christened Judas by his mother, Sad Mummy.
